St. David--- Michelle Blanchette, 58, passed unexpectedly December 17, 2024. She was born July 30, 1966, in Fort Kent, a daughter of the late Rosaire and Blanche (Marquis) Blanchette, and was a graduate of Madawaska High School, Class of 1984.

Michelle was a popular cook and server at Ruby Red's food trailer, Madawaska, where she fed many of the visitors her tasty burgers. She was also a self-employed housekeeper for many of the area homes and businesses. Michelle was an avid flower gardener, and her yard was always full of many types of blooms throughout the year. She loved being outdoors and taking advantage of all Maine had to offer around its woods and waters.

She is survived by her longtime companion of 18 years, Bruno Doucette of St. David; two children, Nicholas Haseltine and Micayla Haseltine, both of Pownal; two grandchildren, Colton and Adaline; six siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
