Madawaska – Mona C. Cote, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2024.  She was born September 11, 1943 in Baker Brook, NB, Canada, a daughter of Antoine and Isabelle (Cyr) Belanger.

She is survived by her loving husband, Philip N. Cote, of 58 years, sons Dean Cote and wife Beverly of Fort Kent, and Stacy Cote and wife Chandra of Bangor; five grandchildren, Alisha, Carissa, Nathan, Brendan, and Isaac; two great grandchildren Jocelyn and Emmie; three siblings, Jean, Lise and Stella; along with several nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her parents and four siblings, Huguette, Guitto, Maurice, and Bertrand.

Mona was a woman of faith. Her greatest loves were her Lord and savior Jesus Christ and her family.  She faithfully served in her church, loved to cook for special events, loved to scrapbook, and making personalized cards for family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday January 13, 2024, at the First Assembly of God Church, 564 Frenchville Road, Fort Kent, ME. Arrangements were assisted by Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
