St. Francis--- Monica Mary Jandreau, 92, passed away on October 20, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1934, in St. Francis, Maine, where her life began and her roots remained.

Monica lived a life filled with love, generosity, and dedication to her family, community and church. She had a special love for fundraising and enjoyed bringing people together for a good cause. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and give of herself to others. She especially loved serving her faith community by organizing many harvest suppers and meals after funerals.

Monica also loved quilting and cooking. Through her quilting, she created beautiful pieces made with patience and care, and through her cooking, she brought family and friends together around the table. These simple but meaningful gifts were a reflection of her loving and generous heart.

Above all, Monica treasured her family. She leaves behind her six beloved children: Steve Jandreau and his wife, Marilyn; Cindy Jandreau; Janice Ouellette; Don Jandreau and his wife, Denise; Dean Jandreau and his wife, Robin; and Benjy Jandreau and his wife, Jill. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren: Carrie, Jessica, Christopher, Alycia, Tyler, Cassandra, Danielle, William, and Amelia. Her legacy of love continues through her five great-grandchildren: Sara, Addison, Nash, Lydia, and Elizabeth, who are part of the family legacy she leaves behind.

Monica’s life was measured not only in years, but by the love she gave, the kindness she showed, and the memories she created with those around her. Her family will carry forward the lessons she taught through her generosity, her willingness to help others, and her devotion to the people she loved.

Though her passing leaves a deep sadness in the hearts of those who knew her, the memories of her life will remain a lasting source of comfort. Every quilt, every meal shared, every gathering, and every act of kindness will serve as a reminder of the special woman she was.

Her hands may be still, but the love she stitched into every quilt, every meal, and every act of kindness will remain forever.

Monica will be deeply missed and forever loved. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the legacy of love she leaves with her family for generations to come.
