Madawaska--Montfort Chasse, 68, passed away on April 29, 2020 at a Fort Kent healthcare facility.  He was born on August 3, 1951 to the late Albert and Leona (Roy) Chasse. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jacqueline (Cyr) Chasse, 2 sons; Jason (Paula) Chasse & Wayne (Megan) Chasse, 5 step-grandchildren; Amber, Cole, Holly, Keegan, and Audrey, 2 great step-children; Henry and Julia Albert, 1 brother; Wilfred (Jackie) Chasse, 2 sisters; Jeanne (Richard) Cyr, and Anita (Martial) Pelletier, along with many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 5 siblings; Valier, Sylva, Jimmy, Joel, and Joan; his In-Laws, Reed and Verna (Cyr) Chasse.  Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
