Madawaska---Nancy L. (Cyr) Michaud,79, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Madawaska on August 2, 2024.  She went home in the arms of her loving Savior Jesus.  She was born in Grand Isle on November 17, 1944, daughter of the late Andre and Normande (Corbin) Cyr.  She was very strong-willed and generous, especially when it came to her family.  She had a big heart and was a wonderful mom and grandmother.  Every time she ran into someone she knew, she always made it a point to stop and talk with them and make them laugh.  In her spare time, she loved to fish with her husband, Joel.  She really enjoyed spending time with her two daughters, but especially with the joy of her life, her granddaughter, Emily.  She will be forever loved and missed.  Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Tracy Michaud of Madawaska, Liza Pelletier of Madawaska; one granddaughter, Emily Pelletier of Madawaska; three sisters, Dorina Beaulieu (Gene) of Grand Isle, Linda Lausier (Daniel) of Westbrook, Brenda Dubay (Daniel) of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Joel Michaud; one brother, Leon "Bee" Cyr and her grandparents who raised her, Albert and Emily (Dumond) Corbin.  A private service will be held at a later date.
