Obituary

Eagle Lake & Fort Kent--- Nancy (Sirois) Pelletier, 68, peacefully entered into rest September 17, 2022, at a Van Buren healthcare facility. Born January 23, 1954 in Eagle Lake, she was the daughter of the late Leonide and Cora (Gagnon) Sirois, and was a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School.

Following her graduation, Nancy attended University of Maine – Fort Kent, in pursuit of becoming a physician. After many years of intense study, her health suddenly declined and was unable to finish her final year of medical school. Despite her health issues, Nancy cherished seeing her children and family thrive and loved to celebrate every milestone, whether she could attend or not.

She is lovingly remembered by three sons, Jacques Pelletier and his wife Amy of Fort Kent, Jonathan Pelletier-Cole of Miami, FL, and Julian Kidney and his wife Karen of Fort Kent; six siblings, Lionel Sirois of Florida, Betty Cole of Eagle Lake and Massachusetts, Margaret Claffy of New Hampshire, Gary Sirois of Connecticut, Jimmy Sirois of Sebago Lake, and Rose Marie Cyr of Portland; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by eleven siblings.

A graveside service will be celebrated at 12 noon on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at St. Mary Cemetery, Eagle Lake. Arrangements are entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
