St. John --- Nancy Pelletier, 75, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. Nancy lost a hard-fought battle with cancer. Our beautiful Maman left the gift of our family, of knowing how to pray, and how to love and trust God with all our hearts. Nancy was born in Biddeford on July 25, 1943, daughter of the late Louis and Lenora (Blanchette) Deschaine. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, George Pelletier of St. John; four children, Bruce Pelletier and his wife Barbara of St. John, Lucy Morin and her husband Marc of Fort Kent, Denis Pelletier and his girlfriend Olivia Theriault of St. John, and Anne Desjardins and her husband Mitchell of St. John; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Hilda Theriault and Lola Deschaine both of Presque Isle. Nancy is predeceased by two siblings, Allen Deschaine and Velma "Sweet" Pelletier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on March 14, 2019 at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent. Family and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 and from 9-10:45 the morning of the service.
