St. Francis--- Nathelie "Joyce" Jackson, 80, peacefully passed away February 4, 2025, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born June 6, 1944 in Caribou, a daughter of Jeannette (Thibodeau) Jandreau and the late Omer Jandreau.

Joyce was a longtime CNA with Forest Hill and worked in homecare for several residents. She loved fishing and hunting, especially with her husband, and embraced anything the outdoors had to offer. She adored young children and loved when her extended family visited with their young ones.

She is survived by her mother of Fort Kent; two sisters, Brenda Theriault and Susan Bourgoin and her husband Gary, all of Fort Kent; a brother, Rudolph Jandreau and his wife Sandra of Oakland; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Maynard Jackson in 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at St. Louis Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, St. Francis. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
