Van Buren--- Ned J. Levesque, 55, died peacefully Sunday, December 14, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. He was born May 23, 1959 in Van Buren, a son of the late Joseph and Emerilda (Michaud) Levesque. He enlisted with the US Army, serving stateside in Texas and Oklahoma. Ned last work with Maine Military, Limestone, for over 10 years. Previously he worked with Bell's Auto Body, Caribou, and operated his own body shop for several years. Ned loved to fish and hunt; rarely could you keep him home. He loved hanging out with his many friends and especially enjoyed hours of conversation and entertainment with his family. He was especially close to his grandchildren and cherished every moment he could spend with them. Ned's family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for all who have stopped by and supported him and his family. Also, a special thank you goes to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Aroostook for their dedicated care and support. He is survived by: his wife of 35 years, Patricia (Deschaine) Levesque of Van Buren; four daughters, Tammy Gagnon and her husband Nick, Jessica Levesque and her companion Troy Lausier, both of Connor, Amanda Gardner and Cynthia Levesque and her companion Aaron Michaud of Van Buren; one son, Joe Levesque of Van Buren; two sisters, Donna Pinette of Van Buren and Noella Levesque of Lille; five brothers, Ernest, Ralph, Paul, Roger Levesque, all of Van Buren, and Wayne Levesque of St. Leonard, NB, Canada; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ned is predeceased by a sister, Louise Beaulieu. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
