Fort Kent--Nicole Georgianna Martin-Hughes, 61, born August 24th, 1959 of Saint Francis Maine; Passed away peacefully on December 22, 2020, at Forest Hill Manor (Fort Kent, Maine) with her daughter Kayla by her side. Nicole is predeceased by her father Rino Martin of St. Hilaire, New Brunswick. Nicole is survived by her Daughter Kayla and Husband Raymond McCrary of Linneus and her three beloved grandchildren Noah Kruy, Ryker and Willow McCrary; Sons, Jeremy Kruy of Saint Francis and Joshua Kruy of Wallgrass; Mother, Mariette Martin of Edmundston, New Brunswick; Sister, Suzanne Martin and partner Dave Albert of St. Hilaire, New Brunswick; Niece, Bianka Ouellet, Nephew, and God Child Yannick Ouellet of St. Hilaire, New Brunswick. Nicole was an incredibly wonderful and loving individual. She loved being a Mimi and her three grandchildren were her world. She also had three cats Milo, Sally, and Yoda who she cared deeply for. Nicole had a passion for the outdoors, it made her feel at peace. She had a love for gardening, every year she would take pride in her potted flower arrangements. Nicole in recent years had significantly struggled with illness and although she passed away too soon, she lived an adventurous life filled with love and great memories.
