St. David---Noella E. Cyr, 93, passed away on December 18, 2022, at a Madawaska health care facility.  She was born in St. David on December 26, 1928, daughter of the late Fred and Lucie (Lagasse) Lavoie.  Noella graduated from Madawaska High School in 1947.  She was a communicant of St. David Church and a lifetime member of the Ladies of St. Anne.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, Lucien A. Cyr in 2004.  She is survived by two children, Diane Guerrette and her husband Michael of Allagash, David Cyr and his wife Diane of St. David; four grandchildren, Derek of Madawaska, Steve (Brittni) of Richmond, Kristine (Jerimiah) of Orrington, Craig (Kailey) of MA; five great grandchildren, Carter, Easton, Isaac, Zoe, Liam, and a soon to be sixth next June; one brother, Ronald of St. Agatha; one sister, Clauda Dionne of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the St. David Church.  In keeping with Noella's wishes, there will be no visiting hours.
