Madawaska—Noella Michaud, 78, died unexpectedly on November 23, 2021 at a Fort Kent facility. She was born on December 22, 1942, daughter of the late Eloie and Yvonne (Fournier) Michaud. Noella often spoke about how proud she was of her three children, Clarence, Norman, and Debbie; and how she loved them so. She cared for her husband Wilford for many years, he was her number one. Noella is survived by one son, Norman Michaud and his wife Susan of Madawaska; one daughter, Debbie Fongemie and her husband Galen of St. Agatha; six grandchildren, Jesse and his wife Lauren, Chad and his wife Natasha, Clint, Lori Richardson and her husband Eli, Deidra Jade, and Kirk; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, Jake Fongemie, Shana Wight, and Matt Fongemie; four siblings, Barbara Guerrette (Laurier) of Grand Falls, Geneva Daugherty (Kenneth) of Texas, Gloria St. Amand (Arthelin) of Illinois, Nancy Gagnon (Roger) of Bangor. Noella is predeceased by her parents, Eloie and Yvonne (Fournier) Michaud; her husband, Wilford; one son, Clarence; three brothers, Gilbert, Gilman and Gildor Michaud; one sister, Pauline Welker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 10am, at St. Thomas Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville ave, Dallas, TX 75231; and/or, The American Diabetes Association, P.O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116. Arrangements haven been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
