Fort Kent—Norma M. Michaud, 74, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2021 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born on July 30, 1946, daughter of the late Wilbord and Leonette (Thibodeau) Bard. Norma was known for her amazing cooking. She would spend hours in the kitchen baking cakes for every occasion, just so she could see her family smile. Norma is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roderick Michaud; one son, Roderick "Dickie" Michaud Jr. of Soldier Pond; one sister, Linda Cyr and her husband Rock of Baker Brook; three grandchildren, Katlyn, Kristen and Joshua; two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Miles. Norma is predeceased by her parents Wilbord and Leonette (Thibodeau) Bard; one sister, Barbara Hoff; one brother, Butch Bard. She will be dearly missed by her son, who will cherish all their memories together. A Mass of Christian burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
