St. David- Odette Martin Dionne, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 17, 2023. She was born in Fort Kent, Maine on August 6, 1964, the daughter of Rina (Boucher) and the late Raymond Martin.

Odette was a lifelong nurse and was extremely dedicated to caring for her patients and touched the lives of many. One of her passions was she enjoyed teaching nursing students and created a bond with them - working with many of them after nursing school. Outside of work, her grandchildren were the light of her life. She also enjoyed gardening and vacationing on the coast.

She is survived by her son, Jason Dionne and his fiancée Stacey Brooker; two daughters, Amy Dionne and her husband, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Holly Dube and her husband, Zachary; her mother; two very special grandchildren Brandon Dionne and Hadley Dube.; two sisters, Pauline Martin and Stella Collin; and two brothers, Dale Martin and Allen Martin; and many other friends and family.

Relatives and friends may greet the family Tuesday evening, June 27, 2023 from  6 – 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning 9 – 9:45 AM at Lajoie Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 114 – 10th Ave., Madawaska. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
