Caribou---Odette Thibodeau Jandreau passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023, at the Caribou Nursing Home. She was born on June 9, 1929 in St. Francis, the daughter of the late Emile and Sarah Jandreau Thibodeau.  On November 7, 1950 she married the love of her life, George Jandreau, who predeceased her in 2016.  Odette enjoyed being outside, sewing, music and dancing.  She loved having her grandchildren and great grandchildren over to visit to make cookies and pies or play ball.  Odette was a parishioner of the Parish of the Precious Blood in Caribou.  Odette is survived by two sisters, Greta Michaud and Grace George, her daughter and three sons: Bonnie and her husband, Gervais Theriault, of Long Lake, Larry Jandreau and his wife, Jenny, of St. Francis, Lonnie Jandreau and his wife, Janet, of Ashland, and John Jandreau and his wife, Patty, of Washburn. Memere was loved and adored by her grandchildren: Corey and Audrey Theriault, Becky and Jeremy Caron, Carrie and Ryan St. Peter, James and Robin Jandreau, Jared and Jessica Jandreau, Eddie and Michelle Jandreau, Kelsey and Shane Ireland, and 12 very special great-grandchildren.  In addition to her loving husband, Odette was predeceased by two brothers Garvin (Pete) Thibodeau and Steven Thibodeau, six sisters Leatha Thibodeau, Doris Pelletier, Fern Albert, Nona Michaud, Dora Mae Lausier and Jacquelyn Dionne.  Odette has left us a legacy of fond and cherished memories that will live on forever in the hearts of everyone whose lives she touched. The family would like to express gratitude to the staff of Caribou Nursing Home, as well as the staff of the Maine Veteran's Home in Caribou for their special care to Odette over the years.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at the Holy Rosary Church in Caribou.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Odette's memory may be made to the activity funds at either the Caribou Veteran's Home, 163 Van Buren Rd., ste. 2, Caribou, ME 04736 or the Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center, 10 Bernadette St., Caribou, ME 04736.  Interment will be held immediately following the Mass at the Caribou Veteran's Cemetery.
