Fort Kent --- Patricia E. Boucher, 89, passed away at a Fort Kent health care facility on Monday, August 20, 2018. She was born in St. Francis, New Brunswick, on June 9, 1929 a daughter of the late Leonard and Laura (Michaud) Landry. Patricia was a life long communicant of the St. Louis Church and member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She will always be remembered for being a loving Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She adored all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and was a skilled seamstress and knitter. You would always see her at the local craft fair sharing her hobbies with everyone. She was always a good provider and made sure that everyone was fed with her wonderful, homemade meals and that they never went without. Patricia is survived by her eight children, Lise Boucher and her companion James Michaud of Fort Kent, Rejean Boucher of Fort Kent, Jacinthe Shaw of Manchester, Norma Theriault of Fort Kent, Odette Bosse of British Columbia, Canada, Bert Boucher and his wife Vickie of Fort Kent, Louise Long and her companion Peter Gonzalez of Connecticut, Tammy Albert and her husband Dave of Wallagrass; 14 grandchildren, Rickie Jr., Gary, Shawn, JacobJohn, AprilDawn, Kristina, Casey, Jared, and Taylor, Odette Farrah, Jennifer, Laurie, Marissa, Garrett; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Loretta Daley of Florida; as well as many nieces, and nephews. Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband Leonard; five siblings, Rejeanne, Marie-Louise, Omer, Therese, and Linda; and two sons-in-law, Rickie Shaw and Alfred Bosse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Family and friends may call at Lajoie-Daigle funeral home on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6-8 pm and on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 9:30-10:30 am before the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia's name may be made to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer Fund, 194 East Main Street, Fort Kent.
