IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia
Kelly
April 8, 1934 – June 18, 2023
Allagash---On June 18, 2023, our loving Mom, Patricia Joyce (Morrison) Kelly went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a brief illness. Grammy Pat (as many knew her) was born in St. Francis, Maine on April 8, 1934, the youngest child of Gilbert and Sadie (McPherson) Morrison. She grew up in St. Francis where she met her husband, the late Guy E. Kelly, Jr.
Along with her husband and a move to Allagash they would raise 4 children together. After raising her children, Pat went to work for ACAP as a Head-start teacher for 26 years. She was a longtime member of the Allagash Baptist Church where she was involved in the missions outreach there. She was a member of the Ladies Missionary Society and helped with Good News Clubs and Wilderness Day camps by baking cookies. After physically being unable to help out, she continued being a prayer warrior for the ministries and also for her family. You could always count on her to pray. Grammy Pat is survived by her children, Daphne (Dale) O'Leary, Sherwin (Tina) Kelly, Bonita (Hilton) Hafford, Marty (Renee) Kelly; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis McBreairty; and a brother, Merton Morrison; many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents, her husband, and sisters, Cora, Nellie, Louella, Hazel, Vesta and her brother Cyrus and one infant brother. The family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank-you" to all those who took time to visit with her in her last days. It blessed her heart to know that she was loved by many. The family would also like to say thank-you to the doctors and staff at NMMC for their exceptional, professional and loving care they gave to our mom in her final days. Friends and family are invited to the committal service at the Allagash Baptist Church cemetery on Saturday, June 24 at 10:00am with a luncheon to follow at Dale and Daphne O'Leary's camp at 817 Allagash Road.
