Patricia Plourde

Fort Kent – Patricia “Patsy” M. Plourde, 76, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 22, 2026, where she was reunited once again with the love of her life, Claude Plourde, after two years apart. She was born February 7, 1950, in Fort Kent, daughter of the late Jean Paul and Helene (Nadeau) Duval.

Patsy and her husband operated Coffin’s General Store in Portage Lake for many years before her retirement in 2000, where she enjoyed substitute teaching at the Ashland District School.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Carney; two granddaughters, Brooke Simpson and her husband Levi and Mackenzie Carney and her fiancé Mike Willis; a great-granddaughter, Kinley Carney; four siblings; her special niece, Robin (Greg) Belanger; and many other nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
