Obituary

Madawaska---Patrick G. Albert, 82, passed away on November 30, 2016 at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born in St. David on March 26, 1934, son of the late Benoit and Alice (Hebert) Albert. Pat worked as a foreman at Fraser Papers for thirty-three years. He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of  Columbus in Madawaska, Council #366. After his retirement, he enjoyed working potato harvest and riding four-wheeler with the guys on Tuesday. Pat is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-six years, Emily (Bellefleur) Albert of Madawaska; one daughter, Sandra St. Pierre of Frenchville; one son, Serge Beaulieu of Canada; two grandchildren, Nathalie Morneault and her husband Joshua of St. David, and Nicole St. Pierre and her companion Calvin Ouellette of Frenchville; one great-grandchild on the way; one sister, Doris Valeri and her husband Nick of California; one brother, Leo Albert and his wife Joan of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews; his loyal dog and companion, Pon Pon. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Jean Yves St. Pierre; eight siblings, Marie Mae Desjardins, Albenie, Lewis, Corinne Ouellette, Irma Soeder, Chanel, Martha Lind, and Alcide. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. Thomas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8am until 9:30am on Saturday before the Service. Interment will be held in the spring.
