Madawaska---Paul L. Tardif, 65, passed away on October 28, 2024, at a Madawaska health care facility.  He was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on December 7, 1958, son of Lloyd and Ruth (Paulsen) Tardif.  Paul enjoyed snowmobiling and riding motorcycle.  He loved sports, especially baseball and hockey.  He was an amazing athlete and was a great swimmer.  He attended college for marine biology.  He is survived by his mother, Ruth Tardif of Madawaska; one brother, Mark Tardif also of Madawaska; four nieces and nephews, Matthew, Meagan, Nicolas, Reily.  Paul was predeceased by his father, Lloyd.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at St. Thomas Church.  Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am until 9:45am on Wednesday before the Mass.  Interment will be in the Parish cemetery immediately following the Mass.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.  For online condolences, please visit www.lajoiefuneralhome.com
