Obituary

Ashland--- Pauline Clark, 90, died peacefully July 8, 2014, at an Eagle Lake health facility. She was born March 16, 1924 in Ashland, a daughter of the late Angus and Delia (Morrow) Burby. She worked many years with Indianhead Plywood and Potato Service. Pauline enjoyed knitting and sharing her crafts with her children and grandchildren. She also loved playing cards with family and friends. She is survived by: her son, Roy Clark; a foster son, Clarence "Billy" Michaud; a sister, Irene Chandler, all of Ashland; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Pauline is predeceased by her husband, David Clark in 1984, a daughter, Elaine Cote, a foster son, John Michaud, and two brothers, Fred and Richard Burby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at St. Marks Catholic Church, Ashland. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Tuesday morning 9 - 10:30 AM at Lajoie Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
