Obituary

Fort Kent--- Phyllis A. Jandreau, 93, passed away on August 2, 2026, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born July 24, 1933, in Fort Kent, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Delia (Theriault) Pelletier.

Phyllis took pride in raising her family and her many years of employment at Paradis Shop’N Save. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and flower gardening.

She is survived by five daughters, Dawn Jandreau and her husband Tom of Alfred, Bonnie Cyr and her husband Paul of Fort Kent, Loise Lemieux and her husband Joe of Waterville, Beth Smith and her husband Terry of Carmel, Marla Landry and her husband Lenny of Fort Kent; one son, Ross Jandreau and his wife Kim of Fort Kent; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four siblings, James Pelletier, Betty Lemay, Rachel Mariano, and Gary Pelletier; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Marvin Jandreau, in 2014, four brothers, Eric, Earl, Glen, and Carl Pelletier, and a sister, Doris Facondini.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Lombard Rd., Caribou. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
