Van Buren--- Priscilla Michaud, 86, peacefully entered into rest Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at an Eagle Lake nursing home. She was born November 6, 1932 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Willie and Elizabeth (Russie) Michaud.

She was a longtime bartender for former Blue Moon Tavern, Van Buren, while her husband entertained guests with music. Overall, she was a devoted homemaker and mother, and loved to care for her thirteen children. Priscilla enjoyed knitting and crochet, donating most of her crafts to family, friends, and to local hospitals and organizations.

She is survived by: eleven children, Rita Chambers and husband Jerry of Sanford, Germaine Deschene and her husband Roger, Gertrude Brown and her husband Ronald, all of Van Buren, Florence Orser and her husband Charles of Woodland, Cecile Tracy and her companion John Whitmore of No. Wade, Jeannine Cyr and her husband Marcel of St. Agatha, Armand Michaud Jr. and his companion Sandra Fortin of Van Buren, Audette Castonguay and her fiancé Mark Farris of Bowdin, Arnold Michaud of Bangor, Mark Michaud of Caribou, and Sharon Michaud of Van Buren; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and three great-great grandsons on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Armand Michaud Sr. in 2000, a daughter, Bernadette Brown in 2015, a son, Roger Michaud in 2019, and three siblings, Felix Michaud, Lucille Levesque, and Cecile Michaud.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated 11AM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday morning 9 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grand River Cemetery, Van Buren.
