Frenchville---Rachel V. Roy, 83, passed away August 16, 2022, at a Madawaska health care facility.  She was born in St. David on February 14, 1939, daughter of the late Saul and Anna (Sirois) Gervais. She owned Rachel's Beauty Salon for over forty years until her retirement in 1995.  She truly enjoyed her career and spending time with her family.  Rachel was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a member of the Daughters of Isabella.  She was married to Roger "Babe" Roy for forty-nine years; and is survived by her children, Regan Roy and his wife Diane of Frenchville, Ruth Roy Geary and her husband Michael of Portland, Mark Roy and his wife Renae of Falmouth, ME; six grandchildren, Dominic, Derek, Isabella, Mallory, Emerson, Luke; three siblings; sister, Lorraine and (Reginald) Reed of Caribou; sister Hermance and (Philip) Michaud of Cape Elizabeth and brother Richard Gervais of Madawaska. She was predeceased by two siblings, Roland and Roger Gervais of St. David. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Monday, September 12 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends can meet at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9am until 9:45am on Monday before the service. Contributions in Rachel's memory may be made to the Edgar J.
