St. David---Raymond Martin, 75, passed away on February 4, 2018 in Bangor.  He was born in St. David on May 26, 1942, son of the late Alcide and Josephine (Currier) Martin.  He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Rina (Boucher) Martin of St. David; five children, Odette Dionne and her husband Ken of St. David, Pauline Martin of New Hampshire, Stella Collin and her husband Brian of Falmouth, Dale Martin and his wife Francine of Edmundton, Alberta, and Allen Martin of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Holly Dionne, Shaina Sirois, Crystal and Taylor Martin; one great grandchild, Brandon Dionne; three sisters, Bernice Martin, Noella Gatten, Marilyn Beaupre; four brothers, Gilman, Richard, Robert Martin, and John Lagasse.  Other than his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Bertrand Martin.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the St. Agatha Church.  Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 6pm-8pm on Thursday.  There will be no visiting hours the morning of the service on Friday.
