Frenchville---Raymonde Corriveau, 78, passed away on May 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Frenchville.  She was born April 14, 1946, daughter of the late Jean Georges and Cecile (Bouchard) Gagne.  She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and was a lifetime member of the Daughters of Isabella, and American Legion Auxiliary.  She volunteered countless hours at the Thrift Shop.  Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family and enjoying many family gatherings.  She is survived by five children; Peter Corriveau and his wife Lisa of Madawaska, Michelle Beaulieu of Madawaska, Brenda Chamberland and her husband Joel of Frenchville, Steven Corriveau and his wife Shannon of Sanford, and James Corriveau of Alabama; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five siblings; Gerald Gagne, Patricia McCarthy, Marcel Gagne, Diane Parker, Albert Gagne; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Armand Corriveau; one brother, Yves Gagne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, May 10, 2024, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 6pm-8pm on Thursday.  There will be no visiting hours on Friday before the Mass.  Interment will be held at a later date at the Caribou Veteran's Cemetery.
