Rella Morneault Boutot passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Memory Care Facility in Frenchville, ME on January 3, 2021 at the age of 77 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 26, 1943 in Eagle Lake, Maine, daughter of late Germain and Aurore Morneault. Rella survived by her children Allan and wife Laurie, Michael Boutot, and daughter Lisa and husband Alex. Grandchildren Jessica and husband Rene, Shawn, Coby and partner Lindsey, Chelsea and husband Travis, Keenan, Marissa and husband Chris, Shiann, Savana, and Sierra. Great grandchildren, Rennae, Riley, Alexis, Connor, Aleah, Coby Jr. and Noah, as well as many nieces and nephews. Rella also survived by her two sisters, Brenda Price with predeceased husband Thomas, and Anne Nadeau and husband Dana. She was predeceased by three brothers, Richard, Ronald Sr. and David Morneault. Rella was a loved woman throughout the town of Eagle Lake where she lived her entire life. Her smile brightened everyone's day and her laugh was contagious. She devoted her time to her family and friends along with her love of music and softball. Rella played softball with the Eagle Lake Women Softball Team for over 15 years. She was known as "Big Mama" and for her homeruns. She loved many things but family always came above all. She was also in the St. Mary's Church Choir for over 20 years with her daughter, Lisa, and Sister, Anne. As well as the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 176 and a volunteer of the E.L. girl scouts. Rella was a devoted and compassionate mother who loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all her heart. There was never a dull moment with Rella. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need of help. As much as she was kind, caring and loving her strength was without a doubt inspiring to all. She will be missed by family, friends and loved ones throughout the town that she called home. Mass will be held Friday, January 8 at 10 am at the St. Mary's Church for the chosen invitee's due to the pandemic. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
