St. John---Rena Mae Bourgoin, 92, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2022, surrounded by her family at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Fort Kent on January 13, 1930, daughter of the late Albert and Melvina (Desjardins) Boucher.  She enjoyed family and friends and loved giving hugs.  She held a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew her.  She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Morneault and her husband Philip of Tolland, CT, Patricia Hurne and her husband Douglas of East Hampton, CT, Tina Marie Roy and her husband Bryan of Carmel; seven sons, John Lozier and his wife Germaine of Florida, Robert and his wife Diane of St. John, Michael of St. Francis, Roger Paul, Jr. of Levant, Bruce of Carmel, Daniel of St. David, Thomas and his wife Gail of St. John; twenty three grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren; eight siblings; many nieces and nephews.  Rena was predeceased by her husband Roger P. Bourgoin; one daughter, Sandra; two grandsons, John and Adam; five siblings.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1pm on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at the St. John Catholic Church.  There will be no visiting hours.  Interment will take place at the St. John Cemetery at a later date.
