St. David--- Reno Deschaine, 79, passed away on December 4, 2013 at his residence in St. David. He was born in Madawaska on August 22, 1934, son of the late Alsime and Marie Anne (Dube) Deschaine. He is survived by five sisters, Louise Robichaud of Washington State, Joan Nadeau and her husband Alphy of Connecticut, Connie Rancourt of Connecitcut, Viola Therrien and her husband Paule Emile of Grand Isle, Blanche Jalbert of St. David; two brothers, Gedeon Deschaine of St. David and Ronnie Deschaine of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Lajoie Funeral Home. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be held later in the spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
