Van Buren---Reno St. Pierre, 61, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2011 at a Van Buren health care facility. He was born in Van Buren on October 30, 1949, the son of the late Emile and Beatrice (Gagnon) St. Pierre. He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor for the Van Buren Housing Authority. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1635 of Van Buren and the Fourth Degree Assembly. Reno is survived by one daughter, Laura St. Pierre; three sisters, Jackie Walsh and her husband Jim of Auburn, Pauline Ayotte and her companion Conrad Perreault, Dot Lemke and her husband Don of Rochester, NH; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Tracy Lavoie of Van Buren. He will be greatly missed by his great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard St. Pierre in 1997. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Saturday, August 13 at St. Bruno/St. Remi Church in Van Buren. Interment will be held immediately following the service in the parish cemetery.
