Hamlin--- Reynold A. Theriault, 79, peacefully entered into Eternal Life June 17, 2024, following a short illness, with his family at his side. He was born in Van Buren November 5, 1944, a son of the late Leon and Catherine (Cormier) Theriault.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Jeanne (Deschaine) Theriault of Hamlin; three children, Gary Theriault and his wife Grace of Long Lake, Brian Theriault and his husband Steve Hornsby of Florida, Jamie Theriault of Van Buren; two sisters, Lita Plourde of Texas and Pauline Theriault of Brazil; three grandchildren, Kristen Ayotte and her husband Eric, Garik Theriault, Jaxon Theriault; one great granddaughter, Carmille; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Rey was predeceased by a grandson, Austin West, and nine siblings, Roger, Jeannine, Rose, Reno, Theresa, Claude, Patricia, Gemma, and Rachel.

Rey was a longtime butcher with Theriault's Meats, starting at the age of 12 with his father. Rey was the former President of the Van Buren's Gateway Snowmobile Club and assisted his town of Hamlin with clerk duties many years previously. Rey loved the outdoors and spent many days sharing his joys with family camping, boating, hunting, and fishing. His favorite times were surrounding himself at the lake with family and friends and chatting late into the evening around a campfire.

He will be deeply missed by his many family and friends spread near and far.
