Richard & Joan (Derosier) Daigle

Van Buren & Windham--- Richard Daigle, 90, peacefully passed through into eternal life January 22, 2022, and reunited with his beloved wife, Joan (Derosier) Daigle, 90, who passed March 11, 2021.

Joan was born January 16, 1931 in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mathilda (Parent) Derosier, and Richard was born a few months later, down the road in Lille, on August 7, 1931, a son of the late Solomon and Marie (Roy) Daigle. The two lovebirds wed April 19, 1955, after Richard returned from Germany during the Korean War with the US Army.

They are survived by five children and many darling grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, September 9, 2022, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Church, Main St., Van Buren. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
