St. David —Richard Lavertu, 71, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2020 at his home. He was born on February 9, 1949, son of the late Oneil and Delphine (Cote) Lavertu. Richard is survived by his two children, Simon Lavertu of Southern Maine, and Monique Lavertu of Washington State; Ten siblings, Carmen, Rella, Gerald, Roger, Edgar, Rachel, Dolores, CJ, Claudette, and Danny. Richard is predeceased by three siblings. Patricia, Joel, and Ronald. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
