Rina C. (Cote) Martin, 93, of Grand Isle, Maine, peacefully passed away on August 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Rina was a beacon of selflessness, compassion, and unwavering faith, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.  Born on August 23, 1930, Rina was a devoted wife, mother, and sister. Her life was a testament to her immeasurable love and dedication. She was blessed with seven children, whom she nurtured with an unending spirit of care and kindness. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where family and friends alike were always welcomed with open arms.  Rina's generosity extended beyond her immediate family. She took in and raised two of her younger siblings with the same love and devotion she showed her own children. Her selflessness knew no bounds, as she dedicated her life to supporting and uplifting those around her, often putting their needs before her own. Her legacy is one of compassion and unwavering love. Her gentle spirit and caring nature left an indelible mark on her family and community. As a prayer warrior, Rina's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her prayers were a source of comfort and strength to many, and her unwavering faith inspired all who knew her.  Rina is survived by her seven children, Diane (Jules) Descoteaux, Arlene (Jim) Ouellette, Fernand (Eileen) Martin, Jackie Martin Labbe, Eugene (Sandra) Martin, Raymond (Lisa) Martin, and Gail (Manny) Brier, as well as her siblings, Donald "Pit" Cote, Martin Cote, and Harold (Omerine) Cote. She is also cherished by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will remember her as a loving and devoted grandmother. Rina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fernand B. Martin.  Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. A funeral service will follow to honor Rina's life and legacy at 10  a.m. Interment will be held after services at St. Gerard Cemetery in Grand Isle.
