St. David---Rina Martin, 80, passed away on June 23, 2024, at her home in St. David, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on November 9, 1943, daughter of the late Armand and Henriette (Landry) Boucher.  Rina loved gardening and really enjoyed flowers.  She always took the time to feed the homeless cats because she believed they all deserved a home. She loved spending time with her family, but especially with her grandchildren.  She is survived by four children, Pauline Martin of New Hampshire, Stella Collin and her husband Brian of Falmouth, Dale Martin and his wife Francine of Edmondton, Alberta, and Allen Martin and his companion Sharon Churchill of Madawaska; six grandchildren, Jason, Amy, Holly Dionne, Shaina Sirois, Crystal and Taylor Martin; two great grandchild, Brandon Dionne and Hadley Dube; nine siblings, Monique Boucher, Colette Bouchard, Guils Boucher, Jean-Claude Boucher, Helene St. Onge, Daniel Boucher, Joel Boucher, Suzanne Boucher, Jacques Boucher; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Martin; her beloved daughter, Odette Dionne.   A Memorial Service will be held 10am on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Lajoie Funeral Home.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday, June 30 and from 9am until 9:45am on Monday before the Memorial Service.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rina's memory may be made to PAWS, PO Box 94, Fort Kent Mills, ME 04744.
