Madawaska---Rina Martin, 77, passed away on February 3, 2014 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on August 28, 1936, daughter of the late Michel and Cecile (Dumond) Michaud. Her life was all about her family. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Rina is survived by two sons, Gino Martin and his wife Karen of Caribou, and Michael Martin and his wife Pierrette of Edmundston; two daughters, Audrey Cyr and her husband Rick, and Peggy Daigle and her husband Andrew all of Madawaska; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Amy, Kevin, Stephanie, Nathalie, Megan, Courtney, and Anthony; three great grandchildren, Mekenzie, Maxime, and Charlotte; one sister, Donata Michaud of Edmundston. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Martin in 2009, eight siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am until 10:45am on Thursday before the service.
