Madawaska---Rita Cyr Bosse, 98, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Madawaska on December 12, 1921, daughter of the late Firmin and Marie (Caron) Dumond.

Rita loved every member of her family deeply and she expressed her love and sincere interest in each of your lives. She was always ready to not only listen but to provide help and wisdom whenever it was needed. She came through for each of us over and over again and  especially during her closing days as she turns the page desiring each of you to stay close and to love one another deeply as she loved each of us. Her final wish is to have each one of you to be with her in heaven where she now resides with her Savior and her loved ones.

Rita is survived by her twelve children, Geraldine Chasse (Roland) of Conn.,  Gerald (Normande) of Florida, Germaine Lozier (John) of Madawaska, Joan Rullen (Jaime) of Georgia, Julliette Dionne (Jacque) of Florida, Johnny (Lin) of Florida, Jimmy (Elizabeth) of South Carolina, George Jr. (Linda) of Madawaska, Joyce Deschaine (Lionel) of Florida, Jackie Albert (Fran) of Florida. Judy Colson (Dale) of Wisconsin. Jeffrey (Kathy) of St. Agatha; a special stepdaughter Michelle Gillo of TN; One hundred and forty five grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Rita was predeceased by her first husband George Cyr, and her late husband Oneil Bosse; her sons James, Joel and Gilman (Ti-Guy); her 8 Siblings.

The family would like to thank the Staff of Ridgewood Estates of Madawaska for 4 and ½ wonderful  years of care, the staff at Northern Lights Hospice Care, and her family who provided her care during her final days in her home and the home of her son George and his wife Linda Cyr who made it possible for her family and loved ones to gather together with Rita during her final days on earth.
