Madawaska---Robert Deschaine, 63, passed away on January 15, 2024, at his residence in Madawaska. He was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on February 22, 1960, son of Willard and Bernice (Lagasse) Deschaine. Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He cared deeply for the people in his life and made such an impact in his community. He was loved by everyone he met. He dedicated his life to helping and caring for everyone around him. He loved his wife more than anything and together they raised three children and built a beautiful home and life together. He was a hard worker, who was well respected by all his coworkers and could always be counted on. He will be missed greatly. He is survived by his loving mother, Bernice Deschaine of Madawaska; his wife of thirty-two years, Dorine (Picard) Deschaine of Madawaska; three children, Elyssa Deschaine of South Portland, Dustin Deschaine of New Hampshire, Kole Deschaine of Minnesota; three siblings, Linda Gerber of Indiana, Donald Deschaine of Tennessee, and Louise Riddle of Wells; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Willard Deschaine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the St. David Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8:30am until 9:30am on Friday before the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be made to, Edgar J.
