Madawaska---Robert G. Gendreau, 60, passed away on December 5, 2013 at a Frenchville health care facility. He was born in St. David on July 19, 1953, son of the late Hector and Hattie (Gagne) Gendreau. He is survived by two sons, Andre Gendreau and Patrick Gendreau both of Madawaska; one grandson, Peter Gendreau of Houlton/Madawaska; three sisters, Vivian Miers and her husband Dwayne of Illinois, Verna Rock and her husband Richard of Florida, Therese Cyr and her husband Roland of St. David; four brothers, James Gendreau and his wife Murielle of Grand Isle, Richard Gendreau and his wife Bernadette of Madawaska, Tom Gendreau and his wife Rosanne of Florida, Will Gendreau and his wife Mariette of Edmundston; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Monday, December 9 at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. At the family's request, there will be no visiting hours. Interment will be held at later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC.
