Van Buren--- Robert P. Ouellette, 71, passed away May 24, 2022. He was born April 27, 1951, lovingly adopted at St. Andre's Home & Adoptive Agency, Biddeford, and raised by his parents in Van Buren, the late Euclide and Lorrette (Michaud) Ouellette. He was a graduate of Van Buren High School, Class of 1970.

Bob received his private pilot's license in 1970 and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Fort Kent in 1976. He served over 19 years in the US Army in conjunction with the Maine National Guard, 152 ^nd Field Artillery Battalion and 262 ^nd Engineer Battalion, and received his honorable discharge in 1992.

He liked to explore the woods and waters around all of Maine but cherished his many explorations through the North Maine Woods with his children. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially sharing memories around a campfire.

He is survived by: three children, Charles Ouellette and his girlfriend Melissa Lord of Strafford, NH, Adam Ouellette and his wife Morgan of Arundel, Michelle Young and her husband Kyle of Salem, NH; six grandchildren; Connor, Colin, Wyatt, Liam, Charlotte & Ethan.

Funeral services will be private.
