Presque Isle Robertine "Tina" Long, 75, passed away on August 6, 2023, at a health care facility in Bangor with her family by her side.  She was born in Fort Kent on October 26, 1947, daughter of the late Rene and Elise (Blanchard) Dumond.  Born and raised in Fort Kent on Charette Hill, at a young age she moved to the south with the love of her life Roger Joseph Long to Connecticut with a brief stop in Lewiston. When in Connecticut, she raised her 3 sons and earned her GED also, attended and received her Cosmetology license.  In 1978 she and Roger decided it was time to move back to her native state of Maine and be closer to family where they bought a house in Presque Isle.  Tina worked for many years at Columbia Forest Wood Products and after the passing of Roger she decided to semi-retire and work in the cafeteria in the schools in Presque Isle.  She loved quilting, arts/crafts and gardening.  She is survived by two sons, Kim Long and his wife Leslie of Dedham, Scott Long and his wife Olga of Abu Dhabi; five grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary, Derek, Kyle, Milla; two great grandchildren, Evyn, and Walker; one sister, Dora Berube of St. John; many nieces and nephews.  Robertine was predeceased by her husband, Roger Long; one son, Mark Long; and twelve siblings.  The family would like to thank the staff at Gentiva Hospice and Eastside Rehab in Bangor for all the extra care and attention that was given to her in her final days.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent.  Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie Daigle Funeral Home from 8am until 9:30am on Thursday before the funeral.
