IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robertine (Martin)
Violette
September 23, 1945 – November 17, 2024
Hamlin & Caribou--- Robertine Violette, 79, passed away peacefully November 17, 2024, at a Caribou healthcare facility. She was born September 23, 1945 in Caribou, a daughter of the late Nelson and Lorraine Martin.
Robertine last worked at former Borderview Manor for over 20 years as a nurse's aide. Previously she worked at the former Yacht Club and Hotel, Van Buren, as a housekeeper. During her younger years, Robertine enjoyed square dancing at many of the dance halls and visiting local casinos in Canada. Her love of reading was voracious and her visiting family always kept her fully supplied with new reads.
She is survived by three children, Dana Violette and his wife Jamie of Caribou, Denise Nutting and her husband Patrick of Idaho, and Tammy Violette of Presque Isle; three brothers, Robert Martin and his wife Carol of New Hampshire, Albert Martin of Connecticut, and Frank Martin and his wife Linda of Florida; two sisters, Roseanna Gendreau and her husband Tom of Madawaska, and Sharon Martin of Missouri; six grandchildren, Nicole, Casandra, Veronica, Matthew, Alexis, and Conner; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
