Grand Isle---Roger J. Pelletier, 82, passed away on February 19, 2015 at a Caribou health care facility. He was born in Frenchville on December 22, 1932, son of the late Fred and Helen (Dumond) Pelletier. He is survived by his wife of twenty seven years, Arlene M. (Bank) Pelletier of Grand Isle; six children, Linda Levesque of Bristol, CT, Joel Pelletier and his wife Wanda of South Windsor, CT, Joan Michaud of Madawaska, Paul Pelletier and his wife Valerie of Bristol, CT, Alan Pelletier of Hamlin, Alice Pelletier of Grand Isle; one step-son, Dale Novotasky of Phippsburg; twelve grandchildren; three step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild; 11 siblings; many nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by his first wife, Cecile Pelletier; one step-daughter, Jill Lukens; one grandchild, Kevin Michaud; and three siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. In keeping with Roger's wishes there will be no visiting hours. Spring interment will be held in the Parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
