Madawaska---Roger A. Plourde, 82, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023, at a Madawaska health care facility.  He was born in Frenchville on September 8, 1940, son of the late Arthur and Yvette (Ouellette) Plourde.  Roger is survived by his sister, Juliette Cyr of St. Agatha; many nieces and nephews.  Roger was predeceased by his two children, Gerald in 1963 and Michelle in 2007; his two sisters, Cecile Cyr and Rachel Rouleau.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the St. Thomas Church.  Relatives and friends may offer their condolences from 9am until 9:45am at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska.
