Fort Kent—Roger Plourde, 74, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2020 at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born on November 12, 1946, son of the late Josepha and Edwina (Charette) Plourde. Roger was a 3 ^rd degree Knights of Columbus, which he was proud to be a part of. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and ride his side-by-side in the woods. Whether Roger was hunting in the woods, or with family he always loved to show his sense of humor. He loved to tell jokes and laughed at each one. Rogers devotion to his family was heartwarming and will be cherished. His wife Marie Plourde passed away in 2010 after being married 44 years.  Roger is survived by his three sisters, Gloria Caron, Phelda Blier, Millie Plourde; four brothers, Jeff Plourde, Maynard Plourde, Edward Plourde, Danford Plourde; three children, David Plourde and his wife Michelle of Delaware, Kevin Plourde and his wife Lola of Fort Kent, Sonya Roy and her husband Bob of New Gloucester; Seven grandchildren, Cody, Deirdre (Chuck), Shantelle (John), Brandon (Kelsey), Tyler (Taylor), Rebecca, Ashley; three great grandchildren, Camryn, Dylan, Serenity; and his special companion Francoise, who will miss him dearly. Roger is predeceased by his parents Josepha and Edwina (Charette) Plourde; three sisters, Velma Caron, Linda Ouellette, and Tina Thibodeau; two brothers, Eldon Plourde, Leonard Plourde.
