Madawaska---Roland J. Cyr, 69, passed away on December 20, 2020 at a Fort Kent health care facility.  He was born in Madawaska on March 6, 1951, son of the late Levite and Annette (Lagasse) Cyr.  Roland is survived by one sister, Richard and Joan Ayotte; three brothers, Lionel and Norma Cyr, Donald and Denise Cyr, Ronnie Cyr and his companion Sharon Roberts; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Therese Plourde and Martha Soucie; three brothers, Bertrand Cyr, Fernand Cyr, and Gilman Cyr.  Funeral services will be held privately at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
