Madawaska--Roland Cyr, 64, passed away on July 26, 2020 at his home in Madawaska.  He was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on May 24, 1956 to Ernest and Cecile (Pelletier) Cyr.  Roland is survived by one Brother, Jean J. Cyr and his companion Lynn Dubay, two step-sisters, Antoinette Lizotte and Jeannette Doiron, one step-brother, Conrad Cyr, several nieces and nephews, and his very dear friend, Susan Grant.  In addition to his parents, Roland was predeceased by four step-brothers, Edwin, Maurice, Alphy, and Raymond.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
