IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roland
Morin
December 17, 1928 – March 7, 2021
Madawaska--Roland Morin, 92, of St. David passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born December 17, 1928, the son of the late Denis & Leda (Cote) Morin.
Roland, with Cecile by his side, was a potato farmer for most of his life and even after he was "retired", he could often be found working in the fields. He had many hobbies that filled his time. From fishing on Long Lake to splitting wood to sitting on the front porch enjoying the fresh air, he always kept busy. What he loved most though, was to have his family around him. From family gatherings to Sunday morning coffee at his home, he loved to be surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. That is how we will remember him and those are the memories we will cherish forever.
Roland is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Cecile (Ouellette); his sister, Rita Dionne; Eight Children: Rachel & husband Roger (Roy), Bernadette & husband Roland (Michaud), Marcel and wife Lena, Louis, Theresa & husband Roger (Hebert), Louise, Alan and wife Kristi, & Susan and husband Scott (Levesque); Twelve grandchildren: Karen, Bruce, Scott, Tracy, Danielle, Dominic, Devin, Dustin, Zachary, Kayla, Jacob & Alex; Twelve great-grandchildren: Megan, Morgan, Cameron, Mallory, Connor, Robbie, Peter, Finnegan, Riley, Travis, Calvin, and Charlie.
Roland is predeceased by his four brothers, Fernand, Josephel, Romeo and Adrien and also by his grandson, Travis.
Due to the current pandemic, a funeral service will be held privately by the family.
