Madawaska---Rolande Ouellette, 94, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in St. Agatha on June 30, 1928, daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Ouellette) Marquis.  She is survived by two children, Diane Morneault of Fort Kent, Michael Ouellette and his wife Sharon of Sicklerville, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Michelle Morneault of Madawaska, Michael Morneault and his wife Nicole of Saco, Dr. Samantha Ouellette, Shelby Ouellette, Sarah Ouellette all of Sicklerville, NJ; two great grandchildren, Avery and Sophia Morneault of Saco; three sisters, Patty Tully, Sylvia Paradis, and Therese Manship all of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews.  Rolande was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Ouellette; a daughter, Phyllis Ouellette, son-in-law, Michael Morneault, Sr.; three siblings, Joel Marquis, Lucille Marquis, Viola Dionne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Relatives and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home in Madawaska from 9am-9:45am on Friday before the Mass.  Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at the Parish Cemetery.
