Fort Kent—Rolande (Marquis) Pelletier, 77, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021 at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born on April 26, 1944, daughter of the late Alsime and Yvonne (Saucier) Marquis.  Rolande is survived by two daughters, Paula Pelletier and her fiancé Gary of Eagle Lake, Linda Plourde and her husband Vaughn of Eagle Lake; five brothers, Edgar Marquis, Paul Marquis, Neil Marquis, Norman Marquis (Diane), Armand Marquis (Rosa); three sisters, Judy Carrier (Wayne), Shirley Bouchard (Roger), Anita Frenette (Gerald); three grandchildren, Derrick Pelletier, Tristin Ouellette, Savannah Plourde; two great-grandchildren, Aubriana, Grace. Rolande is predeceased by her parents Alsime and Yvonne (Saucier) Marquis; her husband, James R. Pelletier Sr.; one son, James Pelletier Jr.; one sister, Geraldine Marquis; four brothers, Gilman Marquis, Edmund Marquis, Roland Marquis, Phillip Marquis. A graveside service will be celebrated on August 6, 2021 at 3:45pm, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Eagle Lake. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
